Jim Frady
Jim Frady was born and raised in Waynesville, North Carolina and now resides in Candler, North Carolina. He received his first bow at age twelve and has been actively involved in archery since 1976. Jim is also a rifle and pistol hunter but his first love is archery.
Jim and his wife Lynne, also an avid archer, have harvested big game animals from across North America with their bows. Jim co-owns Team Frady Outdoor Adventures, Super Dog Obedience & Gun Dog Training, Team Frady Angling Adventures adn The Lady Archer Media Services and Photography. With these companies they cover all forms of shooting sports, hunting and fishing adventures.
In 1998 one of Jim's biggest dreams was to be able to have a mobile unit for their programs. That dream became a reality with a 16' enclosed hauler that they take to all their programs and events.
Jim, Lynne, and their daughter Leah, devote their time conducting archery programss in boys summer camps, North Carolina Becoming an Outdoors Woman programs, 4-H Clubs, Boy Scouts of America, and also camps for youths with terminal illness.
Growing up in the outdoors inspired their daughter Leah to go to Appalachian State University where she is majoring in Ecology/Biology with a minor in Sustainable Development and will also earn a Global Information System certficate.
Jim is a North Carolina Hunter Education Instructor, NAA Archery Instructor adn Certified Arrow Smith.
Jim has competed in local,state, and national 3-D tournaments adn coaches indoor and 3-D shooters in Team Frady's private archery Pro Shop.
In the past, Jim has worked with radio, TV, and print ads in the outdoor industry. Team Frady also works with Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, and Dick's Sporting Goods for special events. Jim is also on several advisory and Pro Staffs in the outdoor industry. Without Team Frady's loyal sponsors none of this would be possible.
