Mike Wheeler

Mike Wheeler has been a hunter all his life, but it wasn't until 1982 that Mike started hunting whitetails. Mike's father, Floyd, introduced him to whitetail hunting when he shot his first buck. Eleven months later Floyd was in a bad accident and passed away.

In 1983 Mike harvested his first whitetail and never looked back. In 1986 Mike harvested his first Pope & Young buck and has harvested at least one P&Y buck every year since, putting his total close to 28 P&Y bucks. Seven of these bucks are over 150 inches, three are over 160 inches, three are over 170 inches, three are over 180 inches and three are over 190 inches.
