Sam Klement
Growing up the youngest of 5 boys in Valdosta Georgia, from an early age Sam was always catching frogs, snakes and any other critters he could get his hands on. His passion for the outdoors has helped him become a developer and patent holder for a number of outdoor products, to include a full line of cover scents called Sportsmans Edge™ and a popular video series entitled Spectrum Outdoors. Sam has been featured in, and written for, many of the major outdoor hunting publications. Sam's true passion is bow hunting whitetail deer and wild turkey. He is married to his wife Jenny of 16 years and they have two wonderful children.
Sam Klement is the Co-founder of Huntin is Good. The goal for H.I.G. is to transcend two hunters' hunting adventures and establish a positive, pro-active framework for how all Americans view the role hunting plays in our great country. In this small way, they hope to give back to the hunting tradition that has provided them so many incredible memories over the years.
Same is also Co-founder with childhood friend and Country Artist Rhett Akins of Country Goes Huntin, a 501C non profit the two formed in 2000 that raises dollars and awareness through hunting and country music for a wide variety of other non-profit events and charities. Their mission statement is "Two Traditions making a difference".
