Shawn Tyler

I started shooting a bow when I was four.  I took my first deer with a bow when I was twelve.  I began shooting competitive tournament archery at age twelve.  I enjoyed success at both to this day.  I have been fortunate to hunt in 35 states and 4 Canadian provinces.  I am former Army and a retired police officer. I am currently a contractor for teh Department of State and regularly deploy to the Middle East.   I enjoy giving seminars and helping beginning archers get started.  Realtree gives me a platform to do what I enjoy most, which is getting youth interested in the sport.

Selected achievements:  Over 450 whitetails taken with a bow (many would qualify for the Pope & Young Club), Member of the Professional Bowhunters Society, Winner of over 400 local archery tournaments, 3 time Dixie Classic 3-D Champion, 4 time Southern Bowhunters 3-D Champion, 4 Gold Medals at the Worl Police & Fire Games for the Field, FITA, and 3-D rounds
