Five Places You Can Still Spring Turkey Hunt
Admit it: You miss the early risings and gobbling on the roost. Thought so. Looking for some places you can spring turkey hunt in the next several weeks? You came to the right place.
If you live down south, casting for bass (or even noodling for catfish) has possibly been part of your deal lately. Backyard barbecues have kicked in. Maybe you’ve watched some baseball and even tuned your bow to shoot 3-D targets with fall deer and other game in mind.
But there’s still some spring turkey hunting left out west and up north. Here are just five states to consider. Click on the hyperlinks for more information from each place.
Nebraska spring turkey hunting ends May 31.
New York spring turkey hunting ends May 31.
Vermont spring turkey hunting ends May 31.
New Hampshire spring turkey hunting ends May 31.
Want to hunt turkeys later than anyone in the country? Maine spring turkey hunting ends June 2, 2012.
Any plans for a spring turkey hunting road trip to one of these states? Maybe you're putting one in the schedule for next year? Let us know in the comments section below and thanks.
