Casa da Bone

Thought I would show ya’ll just how crazy it was to start building a house just prior to and during hunting season. What was I thinking? Me and the Misses are excited and a little nervous. One thing I did do smart was to make the basement 75-feet long (translation 20-yard indoor range).

If anyone has recommendations on websites to shop interior ideas and design ideas, please let me know .

Thanks,
Travis and family

Building a house during deer season. Cover it with a tarp and lets go hunting. Yea I know, I'm married too and if you plan on sleeping in that house I guess you better at least try to work on it some. Still, keep a tarp handy. See ya and congrats!!

Travis, When the time comes to decorate you should head up here to HIGH POINT, NC.
Furniture capitol of the world. There is a store up here called Furniture Land South. You can pretty much walk in there and buy all the furniture you would need.

Like the idea of the range in the basement. That would be sweet.

hey Travis. i feel really retarded right now. U recently sold me a bow for my husband and i didnt even know it was u. duh!! my sister in law told me. i am a big fan of realtree hunting shows. i have seen u on tv a million times (almost). well ty for the bow. my husband really loves it. says its the badest fastest bow he has ever shot or owned (bowtech guardian). I could argue that Matthews Ignition is better but only because that is what i shoot. lol. well hope u finish ure home sometime in the next couple of years. my husband and i have been workin on a cabin a quarter of the size of ure home for almost two years now. we should start putting the siding on soon. lol. good luck and god bless.

    Nice Pics.

Looks a little different than the casa da bone I saw in the last monster bucks. You must have spent a little time cleaning up the joint. Keep up the good work!!!

T-Bone Insulation Insulation Insulation.......contact the boys over at North Carolina Fiber And Foam to find a dealer near you. I used Foam insulation in my new hunting cabin 4500 sq ft and it keeps flies ,wasps and other unwanted critters from crawling in your new home. Mice can't live in the walls cause they can't get in cuz !! About $8000 for your size house, save thousands on heat and a/c costs. Love the trick shots in monster bucks 15 makes me shoot more and more often Good Luck Tom

    Travis,

I am glad to know that I am not the only one who will have an indoor range in our next home. My wife designs kichen and baths. She has been doing this for over eleven years. She can travel and have them shipped directly to your building site. You can look at her e-showroom at www.haywoodbuilders.com for more information. She can also mail you some brochures, samples, or whatever you need.

Also I was needing to ask you about the fuse stabilizer that is offset. I shoot a Tyrkon XL and I was wondering if the offset stabilizer would offset the weight of the quiver and accessories?
