Your Thoughts?

One of the great things about a blog is interaction between us all and I enjoy being able to ask everyone’s opinion and views on things. With that said , we are going to be doing lots of bow and archery tips coming up soon and I have a purdy good list of topics, but I would love ya’lls input on topics ya’ll would like covered concerning bow and archery. Anything from shooting form, bow maintenance or tech tips...anything involving archery. Or even if it is a certain topic you may want explained a little deeper. I look forward to hearing everyone’s response.

Yours in archery,
T-Bone

I am trying to find a better anchor point when shooting. I cant really get good bone on bone contact with my setup now. I dont know if I should move my kisser button a little, or try a new realese? I shoot without a peep which is why I need a solid anchor I can hit every time. I would love to have you (in detail) explain the best whay to go about it.
also I would be interested to see your bow with a little run down of all your equipment. Thanks T

    Hey T-Bone,
I shoot a Bowtech Alligence and there was something mentioned about the cams being in sync. I was unaware that they could become out of sync and would love to here anything on the topic.

P.S. I think having video blogs may help better, then just reading the blogs.

I feel there is too much talk about speed, and hardly any about efficiency. How many people know what there draw-force curve is? Or have even seen it layed out on a graph? How much of your bows potential energy is transfering to your kinetic energy? This seems like a very important thing to know when purchasing a bow. Does your bow shop know this info? Can they figure out what your efficiency is? How can you figure your own efficiency? I could go on and on.
Your bow could have all the potential energy in the world, but if it isn't going into your arrow what good is it?
What makes a bow efficient? Engineering, set-up, design, material.
I think we need to talk about this and blow the cover off this topic. I feel efficiency is way more important to know than how fast a bow can shoot. Efficiency tells me tons more about a bow, and it's manufacturer. Do I have you thinking? Good - you should...

I'd like some tips on shooting from a treestand vs. flat ground, how to determine when I should re-string my bow and what to look for when considering purchasing a used bow.
