It's Almost Here

Man, I can't wait for these summer days to be replaced with the cool mornings of fall. I've been on the road lately traveling to a few retail outlets to speak and that has just fed the need for fall to get here even more!

And for those of you who haven't had the chance to look at the new prostaff page on Realtree.com, check it out. There is a schedule where you can keep up with where the entire pro staff will be speaking, etc. The page is very cool, so check it out.

And to get the year rolling, who is hunting where this fall?

Yours in archery,
T-Bone

The new prostaff page is sweet. I am ready for the fall like no other. I can't wait for those cool crisp mournings to be in a stand. Just another month and a half.

I was just over at the prostaff page yesterday - sweet deal! Y'all need to find yourselves out West more often, though! :)

Exactly two weeks to the archery antelope season - I'll be sitting in a hot blind over a water hole here in Eastern Oregon - then three days later elk season kicks off...and I can't wait for that! My favorite season of the year by far.

    Hey T-Bone,
The prostaff page is awesome, but where is Tyler Jordan. I can't wait for it start coolin' down. There is only four weekends left until bow season starts in GA and I am pumped. Going to all of the outdoor shows is making me want to get in the woods now. I'll be hunting south GA all season long. Talk to ya later.

Been a fan of Realtree and Roadtrips for a long time. Avid hunter turned bowhunter last year. No string music yet, but SE Kansas is hopping with good bucks, due to the wet winter and spring. I'll feel confident that backstrap is in my future.
Keep up the great work, and I'll be watching.

Bow season in SC opens Saturday and I'll be there. It's my first try w/ a bow so even through I'm expecting it to be freakin' hot out, I've waited long enough! Rifle is two weeks out, giddyup! Then my home state (NC) opens in October and I'm off to ND in November. I'm covering ground this fall like a bonafide ProStaffer....

I have hung 9 stands here in Mi and last night I seen 2 giants walking the edge of a corn field about 200 yards from one of my stands. In nov I am going to Illinois to timberland outfitters, then its back home for 2 weeks to hunt the rut, and then over to Wisconsin for there rifle opener.

    Hey T-Bone,
Im going nuts waiting for the season to start. I ve got my two bows tuned up and they cant wait either. Im going to Illinois in Rock Island County to hunt in mid november and need i say more about that. I do traveling work so right now im in Montana but with no tags. I may get to chase a slick head or two before i leave and then may end up back in NC to hunt some deer and hogs.

    Hey T-Bone!
Even though the fall weather here in Texas is anthing but cool, I am still getting the quivers of anticipation. Good luck to you and the other prostaffers this season. I am looking forward to watching all of the videos and living vicariously through y'all!

As I write this, we are 43 days away from the Indiana Archery Opening Day. I will be hunting Indiana exclusively this year. I hope to get a fair amount of hours in the stand. I am not going to be picky this year. It is all about the backstraps, jerky, and roast.
I am in the process of getting my archery shop going, and I hope to have business picking up during this time. I have set aside some time for me in the woods. But I think I am looking forward to the kids hunting more than mine. They are very excited. When they are excited, that means Dad is busy preparing them, arranging times, practice. I go all out to make sure they are prepared and have success in the field. I could'nt stand it if they had equipment problems when they are putting the beed on a deer. Kids are the future of our sport. They have to learn, have fun, and be able to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Teach a kid to hunt, and you won't have to hunt for your kids.
