Sorry for the delay in writing. I'll be traveling to Maine this weekend to do a seminar at Dick's Sporting Goods. I wanted to get a post up to get some feeback on how everyone's food plots are doing this year. In my part of the world, we can really use some rain, and it looks like we'll get some this weekend while I'm away.

Blanton just wrote a blog on how much his family loves to hunt food plots, so I thought I'd pick your brain about your favorite hunting spots in the early season.

Man, I can't wait for these summer days to be replaced with the cool mornings of fall. I've been on the road lately traveling to a few retail outlets to speak and that has just fed the need for fall to get here even more!

As everyone knows, whitetails are the most hunted game in North America. And I bet if they had whitetails in Europe, they'd hunt 'em there too!

Anyway, Realtree has just launched a new site that is all about whitetails. Check it out, and be sure to download the Podcast. I'll be doing several of these talking about bow tips, etc.

And there is plenty of other good information there. You can check out some great articles on deer hunting and management at the Whitetailology section. And the IQ game is great! And trust me, it's a tough quiz. This site is going to continue to grow, so check it out.
