Question: What do you think of the peep less bow sights? What peep do you use?
Answer: There are a lot of advantages to not having a rear peep. The main reason is it allows more light gathering which allows you to shoot later in the evenings. But the cons to that set up is without a rear sight to look through, it makes it harder to maintain your anchor, therefore your groups suffer and begin to open up. In my opinion I would rather have the peep sight to keep me accurate 95% of the time and consistent and then in low light conditions I will practice shooting outside my peep and compensating. Most low-light shots are gonna be pretty close shots.
I prefer the G5 meta peep but there are several good peeps. I hope that has shined a lil' light on things for you.
Good luck

Good advice. There will be more shot opportunities in good light than there will in low light. I practice opening my other eye from past dusk to last light. It helps my shooting greatly, but like everything else it comes down to what might work for you. Practice in the situation for your best results.
Hey T-Bone,
That's makes a lot of sense. I love using a peep b/c its like you side it maintains your anchor. Talk to ya later.

I prefer the peep option. I have shot bows with the no peep option and just didn't like the string being in my line of vision. I'm not saying they are bad sights, it just didn't work for me.
I do feel there is a benefit with the peepless sights. You can really see your torqueing problems with a sight like Tom Miranda uses, "the hind sight". The rear sight is attached directly to the front sight which means if your riser torques to the left or right the rear sight will definatly pick it up.
Depending on your use and prefrences will help determine which sight will be the one for you.
