I have one more for Lance. Maybe the trouble I experienced one time can help. I had a time where no matter what I did I was having troubles keeping fletchings on the shaft, not just my own but some customers as well. I had tried everything I could think of; reduced humidity, soap and water vs. alcohal, wraps vs. no wraps, longer drying time, more glue vs. less glue and nothing was working. At last I called the glue manufacturer for some suggestions because I have never had any problem with there product, and they asked for the lot # off of the tube. Come to find out even though I had just bought the tube a month earlier the tube turned out to be 5 years old. The stock from my supplier was pretty old. The manufacturer told me the shelf life was only suppose to be a max of two years for this product. The manufacturer sent me new glue straight from there facility and presto, my fletchings held strong. I also found out that storing my glue in the refrigerator helps the shelf life as well. So if your glue is old you maybe suffering from some shelf life issues.

    Good Luck
