"Realtree's NASCAR Outdoors" -- Slated for July 2011 Featuring Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick & More

“Realtree Outdoors” Also Set to Join Outdoor Channel in Summer 2011

Columbus, Georgia & Temecula, California -- Realtree, the world's leading camouflage designer, marketer, and licensor, and Outdoor Channel, America’s Leader in Outdoor TV, today announced that the two companies have extended their strategic programming partnership and revealed the launch of a new program dubbed “Realtree's NASCAR Outdoors.” Additionally, “Realtree Outdoors” will join Outdoor Channel in July 2011. The popular hunting show formerly aired on ESPN2.

Under the terms of the renewed agreement, Realtree will continue to serve as an exclusive programming provider through 2014 to Outdoor Channel. The camo company currently supplies popular content, such as “Realtree Road Trips with Michael Waddell.”

“Our continued partnership with Realtree allows us to offer exclusive, engaging content to our vast outdoor enthusiast audience base. This deal further underscores our ongoing commitment to invest in our brand, content and talent to reinforce Outdoor Channel’s position as the clear outdoor entertainment category leader,” said Tom Hornish, COO, Outdoor Channel. “Realtree sets the standard for quality hunts, topnotch production and edge-of-your-seat excitement. And, ‘Realtree’s NASCAR Outdoors’ is sure to be a hit on our network.”

Slated for a July 2011 debut on Outdoor Channel, “Realtree's NASCAR Outdoors” will feature NASCAR drivers, such as Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Tony Stewart, Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex, Jr., Clint Bowyer and others, on a variety of exciting hunts across North America. Viewers will get a true insider's look at the NASCAR lifestyle, plus see all of the awesome hunting action these NASCAR drivers -- as well as owners and crew members -- enjoy in their brief time away from the track.

“Hunting is absolutely my number one passion when I am not racing,” said NASCAR team owner Richard Childress. “So many of my NASCAR friends share this same intensity for the hunting lifestyle, and all of us are proud to be able to help promote hunting as a vital part of our American heritage. Television shows, such as 'Realtree's NASCAR Outdoors,' play an important role in this effort, and Realtree is at the forefront of this effort -- not only with television but also through their support of conservation. I am glad to work with Bill Jordan and others at Realtree, Outdoor Channel and NASCAR in this important effort.”

“All of us at Realtree are committed to creating quality programming,” said Realtree's Bill Jordan. “Our goal has always been to be true to hunting first -- to respect our hunting heritage. We know that if we do this, and show the true excitement of the hunt, that viewers will watch and appreciate our efforts. It's great to partner with Outdoor Channel to reach so many people who enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.”
