This new broadhead has a (stainless-steel) ferrule locking system and features the Accu Flight System. It’s a fixed, three-blade broadhead with 1 3/8-inch cutting diameter. 2 | Allen Bloodrush Hybrid Broadhead

This head might have a crazy design, but it works. It produces devastating cuts and gets great penetration. Its twisted ferrule promotes larger blood trails. The hyper trauma blood ports increase hemorrhaging, which increases blood loss. The band and locking collar hold the blade closed for better accuracy and flight. Simply push the band over the blades before use. Then the blades will open on contact. This model has a 1 3/8-inch cutting diameter and weighs 100 grains.

3 | Allen Torrent Crossbow Broadhead

This little broadhead is designed specifically for crossbows. It has a 1 3/16-inch cutting diameter, weighs 100 grains and sports the chisel tip design. It has an increased ferrule diameter to match crossbow bolts, an integrated blade-locking nut and 1-degree right offset blades to help induce spin. Each of these features help improve overall accuracy.

The Dark Knight from New Archery Products (NAP) is a hybrid-mechanical broadhead that features a pivoting main blade and two mechanical bleeder blades. It’s designed for maximum penetration (deflecting around dense bone to increase penetration depth). This product comes in a pack of three and in 100- or 125-grain varieties. They have a cutting diameter of 1 ¾ inches.

7 | New Archery Products (NAP) Spitfire 450

The NAP Spitfire is a broadhead that’s long been a leader in the industry. The Spitfire 450 does a great job of staying closed (and opening up) right when you want it to. In fact, that’s where it gets its name, it stays closed during flight up to 450 fps, yet opens up when you need it to. Designed for crossbows, it comes in a three-pack, and weighs 100 grains.

This 100-grain broadhead from TruGlo is all the rage. These Titanium X precision broadheads offer the superior flight and damage that large two-blade broadheads typically do. Need a new crossbow broadhead? Made with a 7075 aircraft aluminum ferrule, the new deadline from BloodSport is a solid way to go. It’s been tested to 500 fps, has a 2-inch cut and weighs 100 grains. It requires up to 80 percent less force for blades to deploy than many other crossbow heads on the market. It also has the bone-splitting chisel tip, an industry-leading .040-inch-thick blades, no rubber bands or O-rings and a streamlined design for reduced drag.

A fan of the Rage Hypodermic but not the collar? Now it no longer has one and locks without it. The two-blade, 100-grain head performs well and has a 2-inch cutting diameter. This might have been one of the most interesting broadheads at the ATA Show. It’s machined from one solid piece of stainless-steel material. It is a 100-grain, three-blade head with a 1 1/8-inch cutting diameter. The blades are .046 inches thick and business end is a hybrid chisel-style cut-on-contact tip. This broadhead takes toughness to the next level.

14 | Muzzy X Four-Blade

The four-blade X from Muzzy is impressive, but for a different reason. The cutting diameter is a whopping 2 5/8 inches. That’s huge. Beyond that, blades are .035-inches thick. It also features a chisel tip, aluminum ferrule and is only ¾ inches during flight. Lastly, it’s 100-grain in weight, operates with four blades and packs a Muzzy-style punch.

15 | Rocky Mountain First Cut X Crossbow Broadhead

This 100-grain cut-on-contact tip is designed to work with modern crossbow equipment. As the company claims, its “rock-solid dependability” is the reputation this product stands on. Two of the blades on this head have a combined ¾ cutting diameter and the two primary blades offer a 1 1/8-inch total punch. It also has a 22/64-inch ferrule diameter for proper bolt alignment. This head is compatible with standard inserts.

16 | Rocky Mountain Switchblade Expandable

This 100-grain, four-blade option is solid. It cuts on contact and offers up field-point accuracy with 7/8-inch and 2-inch cutting diameters. Blades are .035 inches thick. It’s pretty much like chucking a tomahawk at a deer except with prevision accuracy. The blade-retention system on this head is reliable and the ferrule is crafted with aircraft-grade material.

18 | Wac Em Steel Hybrid Crossbow Broadhead

The Steel Hybrid for crossbows looks like a dadgum meat grinder. There are blades going everywhere on this thing. We like that as long as the durability is there. Regarding specs, it’s 100 grains in weight, has a 2 5/8-inch cut, and has .050-inch thick fixed and .035-inch-thick rear-deploying blades. It comes in a pack of three.

19 | Radical Archery Designs MadMan HPV 100 Series

This is a cool new four-blade broadhead from a lesser-known company. But they make solid products. The MadMan HPV 100 series has a 1 3/16-inch cutting diameter as a fixed-blade head, and has .030-inch-thick blades. The head weighs 125 grains and comes with extra replacement blades. The double-scalloped point is unique in nature and improves penetration.

The new Deep Six from Exodus offers a steep cutting angle. It uses heavy-duty SST material, Precision Spin Technology and Blade Over Shaft Technology. This 100-grain, two-blade, rear-deploying blade offers a massive 2-inch cut. It’s almost like . . . throwing a hatchet through them. Hence the name. It has a lot of neat features, though. 23 | Dead Ringer Pump Station Disconnect (PSD)

The new PSD sports durable steel construction, cut-on-contact penetration and a two-blade design with a  1 1/8-inch cutting diameter. It comes in either 100- or 125-grain weight options. It also has a brass alignment collar than you can remove to make it 100 grains instead of 125. That’s a standout feature in and of itself.

This is another option we’re really excited about. Wasp and Havalon partnered to create the ultimate fixed-blade broadhead. The 100-grain Havalon HV has a .035-inch thickness and a 1 3/16-inch cutting diameter. Overall, it combines the technologies by both Wasp and Havalon — including the Stainless Smart Tip (SST) — to create this new product.

Once again, we have another great broadhead that’s new for 2019. This model is made from 7075-T6 (7 series) aluminum that’s supposed to be both lighter and stronger than titanium and also incorporates 440C stainless-steel tip blades. The x-out tip is rated to be as strong as a chisel tip. Plus, the Vector is fully micro adjustable for cutting diameter and blade angle from 1 inch to 1 ¾ inches. This model is crossbow approved.
