We recently attended the 2019 ATA Show in Louisville, Kentucky. We scoured the show floor looking for the latest and greatest in the archery world. We came across a lot of great stuff, including great new arrows, quivers and release aids. Here is the cream of the crop.
Cobra Trophy Double Caliper Diamondback Connector Release
Need a new release aid? The dual-caliper Trophy Double Caliper Diamondback Connector is a solid option. It has a crisp trigger and a comfortable adjustable wrist strap. It comes in Realtree Xtra camo.
Cobra Bravo E-Z Adjust Release
Want a little different variety? The Bravo E-Z Adjust release with loop and lock strap comes with a Realtree camo wrist strap and orange calipers. Fuse Archery Maxxis Quiver
Quivers are an integral part of your bowhunting setup. The Maxxis from Fuse Archery is a quick-disconnect quiver that easily attaches and detaches from your bow. It also houses up to six arrows, which is huge in comparison to most other quivers on the market. Allen Crossbow De-Cocking Bolt
Are you a crossbow hunter? Ever had to discharge arrows that you didn’t want to shoot? Doing so can be dangerous if you aren’t careful. Plus, it results in dulled broadheads and potentially damages your bolts. This device, the Crossbow De-Cocking Bolt from Allen, makes that process much safer and easier on your gear. Allen Nexus Hunter Crossbow Bolts
The Nexus Hunter Crossbow Bolts by Allen come in a handy three-pack set. They have a straightness factor of +/- 0.004 inches (0.101mm), 4-inch vanes, half-moon nocks and are compatible with crossbows with draw weights up to 185 pounds. The recommended field point size for these bolts are 11/32 of an inch (8.73mm).
Allen Knockdown Youth Carbon Arrows
The Knockdown Youth Carbon Arrows by Allen come in sets of three. They are made of high-strength carbon that delivers increased penetration. They come pre-fletched with 3-inch vanes that offer better stability during flight. They also come field-ready with pre-installed inserts. Each of them have a weight of 8.6 grains per inch with a +/- 0.006-inch (0.015 CM) straightness factor. These are recommended for bows with draw weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds.
Allen Fearless Youth Target Arrows
Have a young archer in your life who frequently hits the range? The Fearless Youth Target Arrow shafts are made from durable fiberglass and have precision target points. They also come pre-fletched and are made for bows with draw weights up to 35 pounds.
Allen Pro Series 400 Carbon Arrows
Ready for the big leagues? The Pro Series 400 Carbon Arrow set comes pre-fletched with 2-inch Blazer veins and are made of high-strength carbon fiber matrix which helps deliver increased penetration. They also come field-ready with pre-installed inserts. Each arrow weighs 8.6 grains per inch and sport a +/- 0.006-inch (0.015CM) straightness tolerance. Allen Atomic 350 Carbon Arrows
The Atomic 350 Carbon Arrows are made of high-strength carbon fiber matrix provides faster arrow recovery and better accuracy. These have a 0.0035-inch (0.0889mm) straightness tolerance. They also come pre-fletched with 2-inch vanes for superior flight, weigh 10.2 grains per inch, have an outside diameter of 0.295 inches (7.493mm) and a spine rating of 350. These are recommended for bows with 50- to 65-pound draw weights and 9/32-inch target points. They come available in 29- and 30-inch lengths.
Beman WhiteOut Arrows
Are you a Beman fan? The WhiteOut from Beman is the next evolution of graphics on hunting arrows. It features grayed-out Realtree camo that increases visibility and blood traceability. These arrow shafts have a +/- straightness of 0.003 inches, range in spine sizes from 300 to 500, range in weight from 7.5 to 9.6 grains per inch and come in lengths between 30.75 and 32.25 inches. Sports a 13-grain Super Nock and 21-grain CB insert.
Beman WhiteOut Bolts
Love the Beman WhiteOut design but shoot a crossbow? They have a bolt version. It comes in lengths ranging from 20 to 22 inches and a 11.5-inch grains-per-inch weight. It also comes with talon- (11 grains), moon- (11 grains), or flatback- (9 grains) style nocks. It also comes with either 100-grain brass or 42-grain aluminum bolt inserts.
Beman ICS Hunter Realtree Arrows
This arrow option provides accurate trajectory, hard-hitting impact and comes equipped with the Microlite S nocks and precision 21-grain CB inserts. It comes in 300, 340, 400 or 500 spine sizes. Weights (grains per inch) range from 7.5 to 9.6 and come in 30.75-, 31.25-, 31.75-, and 32.25-inch stock lengths.

Gold Tip AirStrike Arrows
These new arrows for 2019 are coated with Slick Shield technology for deeper penetration and easier arrow removal from targets. Their overall small diameter leads to better accuracy and increased speed. These come in 250, 300, 340 or 400 spines. The recommended field point size is 5/16 of an inch and these range from 7.2 to 9.6 grains per inch. Nocking options include both the ballistic and nock collar. Insert options fall between Al and SS insert technology.
TruFire Hardcore Four-Finger Revolution
This is a great four-finger release option. It incorporates the premium five-position thumb trigger adjustment system. It also has micro trigger travel adjustment, independent trigger pressure adjustment (6- to 50-ounce adjustments) and 360-degree head rotation that locks into position with a set screw. This product fits both right and left hands and comes with a D-loop retainer.
Scott Talon Release
Are you more into the hook-style releases? The Talon by Scott might be more up your alley. It’s claimed to be the straightest shooting hook-style release available today. The Talon also is said to deliver 100-percent hook clearance, which creates extreme accuracy and better tunability. It even features more tension adjustment, trigger and travel adjustments, grip ridges for increased accuracy, nine length adjustments, interchangeable trigger (swept or straight) and a single-sear design.
Scott Pursuit Release
This is one for those who prefer the thumb-button style release. It’s great for 3D, indoor archery and hunting, too. The Pursuit features multi-sear technology, a crisp trigger feel, a three and four finger extension, fully adjustable trigger position, adjustable trigger travel, ergonomic handle and much more.
