Realtree Camo Guide
The art of concealment is an extremely tricky one. It takes incredible thought and effort to design a camo pattern that truly hides a hunter. But Bill Jordan has always believed that quality patterns can achieve just that. And achieve it he has. Numerous times.
There are many great patterns from past years. AP. Advantage Timber. MAX-1. Hardwoods HD. The list goes on. Today, we have the more recent newcomers, such as Timber, EDGE and MAX-5. All proven patterns that help maintain your hideout while hunting.
Check out our personal picks for the best camo patterns this year. And if you still need help finding the right pattern for you, use our Camo Pattern Selector to narrow down the results.
Realtree Timber
Realtree Timber
The latest Realtree camo pattern on the market is Realtree Timber. Primarily designed for duck hunting, it's proven to be an extremely effective deer hunting pattern, too. Just look how well it blends with the timber setting and the guy doesn't even have back cover. This pattern is impressive. It's great for river-bottom hunting, flooded timber late-season hunting and anywhere else you have a heavy timber presence.
It's even good for blending in at the base of an old oak tree, or high up in one. Especially when the greenery fades and the leaves have fallen off. Definitely keeps you concealed.

Realtree EDGE
Realtree EDGE
Bill Jordan has perfected the art of developing quality camo patterns. His attentiveness to detail and ability to design patterns that utterly dominate the outdoor market are unprecedented. And the effectiveness of the all-new Realtree EDGE pattern is simply stunning. It's going to be a great pattern for deer hunting.
As the EDGE slogan goes, "Hunting comes with a lot of challenges. Being confident you're concealed shouldn't be one of them." The intricate color, depth and detail in the design make it so effective.

Realtree Xtra
Realtree Xtra
Here you have your one-camo-fits-all pattern. Realtree Xtra works extremely well from the Southeast, to the Northeast, and all the way over past the Midwest. It even works in some locations way out West. Needless to say, it performs in a variety of habitats. It performs the best once the leaves change in fall all the way through deer season. It even works great come turkey time.
This pattern utilizes 12 different warm, natural colors to make it so productive. Things in the foreground are in perfect focus. Middle-ground objects are a little more blurred and the background setting is completely indistinguishable. Yet have each of these components are crucial to make Xtra what it is.

Realtree MAX-1 XT
Realtree MAX-1 XT
As our mainstream western pattern, MAX-1 XT is excellent for prairie, desert and mountainous terrain. It blends into those environments better than any pattern I’ve tried and truly keeps hunters hidden. It’s great for midwestern and western deer hunts. It’s even effective for other big and small game hunts in those regions, too.
Want a pattern that will work in western and (most) eastern settings, too? Again, MAX-1 XT is the pattern you need to accomplish that. Its open-pattern design makes it very versatile.

Realtree Original
Realtree Original
The camo pattern that put Realtree on the map. Realtree Original was really popular then. It’s extremely popular now. And we’re offering it to the public once again. Whether you’re the type who loves to sit on the ground up against an oak tree, or the person who enjoys getting 20 feet high in a treestand, Original will work for you.
The good news? Original is here to stay. It isn't going anywhere. And you can enjoy its success as a pattern just as you always have.
