Having an ATV or UTV makes life easier for deer hunters. Don't believe me? Try dragging a deer 3/4 of a mile through briars and brambles. Then you'll appreciate the advantage that a touch of horse power offers. The good news? Yamaha reins in those horses, puts them on four wheels and gives them a pretty paint job. Here is a look at two new options being offered in 2019.
2019 Yamaha Grizzly EPS (Josh Honeycutt photo)
This new offering, the Grizzly EPS in Realtree EDGE camo, has a 686-cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC 4-stroke engine. The compression ratio is 10:1 and the Grizzly sports the Yamaha Fuel Injection (44mm). The transmission is an Ultramatic V-Belt with all-wheel engine braking. It's a smooth ride, has incredible power and will definitely be a long-lasting 2-wheel and 4-wheel-drive four-wheeler in the deer woods.
2019 Yamaha Woverine X2 R-Spec (Tyler Ridenour photo)
Rather have the UTV (side-by-side) instead of an ATV? The new 2019 Woverine X2 R-Spec is built with the sportsman in mind. It has an 847-cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC 8-valve engine. The compression ratio is 10.5:1. It also has Mikuni fuel injection fuel delivery and YCC-T dual-36-mm throttle bodies. It has an Ultramatic V-belt with all-wheel engine breaking. It even sports on-command 3-way locking differential, 2-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive and full differential lock 4-wheel drive. All in all, the new Wolverine X2 is more than capable of handling your offroad adventures.
