HeadHunters Nate Hosie and Randy Birdsong are longtime Realtree team members and both know how to punch a deer tag. They’ve had plenty of practice. And camerman Scuba is a big part of the equation, too.

In this episode of Monster Bucks, Hosie heads to Montana in search of a big early season whitetail.

“Scuba’s been watching this river bottom and quite a few good bucks come out and use this as a little transition on their way out to feed in the alfalfa,” Hosie said. “And from what I can see, these stands are in the perfect little pinch point. Now it’s time to rock."

It didn’t take long before the rock paired up with some roll, a big deer walked within range, and Hosie drew back on his Mathews bow.
