Monster Bucks features classic deer hunts. Skyler Wirsig's Ohio adventure certainly qualifies. He arrows a crazy-looking, one-eyed buck with a drop tine. The deer even seems to have an antler gouge mark on its neck. The rut might be great for deer hunters. But it's not always a fun time for whitetails.
Tactical Talk: Shooting lanes, or a lack thereof, can affect the hunt outcome. In this episode of Monster Buck Mondays, Wirsig has to squat down to get the shot off. Luckily, he had just enough of a window to loose the arrow. A little extra time spent cutting holes for bullets and broadheads can make or break a bow hunt.
