Rebekka Redd checked in with our Realtree team and wrote: As the season slows a little bit, I’m able to sit down and start collecting photos … We just got our first snowfall three days ago. Thank you all for the continued support in my wild adventures in global fishing. Blessings from Canada. – RR

Fishing Adventures
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
"I believe I was born with a love for water, the outdoors, and fishing," Redd said. "By the time I could walk, I was mesmerized by the creek that flowed along my family’s farm, and the frogs, minnows and bugs that inhabited there." She travels far and wide across the globe, adding to her adventures.
World Traveler
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
"These days I fish beyond North America," Redd said, "in freshwater / saltwater systems around the world."
Big Northern Pike
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
Rebekka Redd's lifelong obsession is big northern pike. Her personal best pike taped 51 inches – on the fly.
Fishing Passion
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
“When I was 8 years old, I was introduced to fishing via my eldest brother," Redd writes. "There was no doubt that at that time I started my passion of fishing. I picked up my first fly rod at about age 14, and then I knew I had found the one true love in my life. My fly rod has been the gateway to my soul – it has taught me about the depths of who I am, it’s been my shrink, and it’s been my parachute! Most of all it’s been my addiction."
Live Life Fully
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
"My fly fishing 'addiction' has helped me heal over loss of loved ones," she said, "including my eldest brother, to helping me inspire others to live life fully and to pursue their passions.”
What Matters Most
@ Rebekka Redd Fly Fishing
Growing up on a small farm with two older brothers and her parents, she learned to value what matters most. Family is of utmost importance. Her eldest brother, who was her mentor, and fishing partner, died tragically when she was a teenager. During that time she took up fly fishing on her own, and over the years fly fishing, her strong faith in God, and being outdoors has helped heal her heart. Today, Rebekka fishes in memory of her beloved brother.
