Reynolds Outdoors

We are a family owned outdoors store located in Opelika, Alabama.  We are East Alabama natives, Auburn University graduates, and hold a deep family legacy for preserving and enjoying the outdoors. We thought there was a need in the area for an independently-owned outdoors store, and we have had the fortunate opportunity to build upon the legacy of a business that has a rich heritage in the Auburn-Opelika area.

Story’s has been an upstanding gun and ammo shop for more than 50 years, and when Mr. Story announced his retirement, we saw a great opportunity to take what he has established and build upon it by carrying out our family’s dream. Our intentions are to maintain the loyal customer base that has been part of Story’s by continuing to provide great deals and excellent customer service. At the same time, we anticipate being able to build upon our clientele by welcoming others to join the Reynolds Outdoors family. We want folks to know that they’re going to be taken care of and that they are going to receive the same personal care and service at Reynolds Outdoors that they’re accustomed to.

In addition to gun and ammo lines, we’ve evolved to offer fishing gear, outdoor apparel and accessories and even services like gun-smithing. In today’s world, our lifestyle as gun supporters is constantly under attack, and we’re here to stand in full support of our second amendment rights.

Hunting, fishing and the outdoors have drawn the Reynolds family closer together, and through Reynolds Outdoors, we want to help other families to do the same. Through Reynolds Outdoors, we want to enable others to enjoy God’s creation like we have.
