This week kicked off the annual SHOT Show is Las Vegas, where the hunting and shooting industry join to unveil the hottest, newest gear. In the world of waterfowl, the Duck Commander name still burns brightest with the continued popularity of Duck Dynasty. Mossberg is the latest company to join forces with the bearded experts, unveiling their line of Duck Commander shotguns, all decked out in Realtree MAX-5.

Mossberg’s intentions were to wait for the release but, according to a company spokesman, news of their Duck Commander partnership was unintentionally leaked on a popular gun website, leading them to bring new models to retail throughout the fall.

The Duck Commander crew continues to play a role in the development and field testing of the guns, which are offered in a number of models. Without question, one of neatest is the minuscule 20 gauge Super Bantam, framed in a youth size. As we see in this video, the entire gun is scaled back, from the adjustable length of pull to the action itself. This is sure to be a hit with young fans of duck hunting, as well as the top-rated TV show.
