The deer charged the men after they freed its antlers from a hammock

Body-cam footage caught the impressive moment a wildlife conservation officer tackled and pinned a buck to the ground after it charged him.

The deer attacked Utah Department of Wildlife Resources officer Kody Jones when he and Iron County, Utah, deputy Dustin Roy freed its antlers from a hammock that was wrapped around a tree.

Jones wrestled the deer to the ground to prevent it from goring him with its antlers. When he released it, the deer charged again and then stood its ground eyeing the men in an aggressive manner.

As the Iron County Sheriff’s Office said on the Facebook post showcasing the footage, “It’s all fun and games until the deer charges you.”
