Watch Young Horse Try to Play Ball with Elk

Just like many youngsters, the colt in this video likes to play ball... and, it seems, any partner will do. In the footage, you can see the young horse trying its best to engage an elk in a game of toss. It hurls the ball over the fence to its wild friend as the two run back and forth together in the Montana snow. The elk is obviously interested in the game and the ball, but doesn't pick the ball up, as the colt was probably hoping it would. Either way, it’s a cool interaction to watch.
