Wild Turkey Slow-Cooker Tetrazzini Recipe

This easy-to-make turkey tetrazzini will be a crowd pleaser. Start it before you head out for the day and let is simmer in the slow cooker. When you get home, you only need to add a few more ingredients while it finishes cooking.

Ingredients

1 Wild turkey breast
cut into bite-sized chunks

1 Zesty Italian dressing mix packet

8 ounces mushrooms
halved or sliced

1 Onion
diced

Chicken broth
1 quart

Frozen peas 12-ounce package

Cream cheese 8-ounce block

Italian blend shredded cheese 8 ounces

Pasta 16 ounces
cooked al dente

 


Cooking Instructions

Cook the turkey breast, onion, mushrooms, chicken broth and Italian dressing mix in the slow cooker. Cook on low 6 to 8 hours. Add peas, pasta, stir, add cream cheese (cut cream cheese into pieces). Add the shredded cheese. Switch slow cooker to high. Cook for one more hour.
