According to ABC 7, WXYZ News, a motorcyclist died this past weekend after a turkey collision. As the story goes, a number of birds were crossing the road, as flocks so often do.
Apparently, one of the turkeys took flight, hitting the rider in the chest. The 70-year-old man hit a guardrail. The rider, who was wearing a helmet and protective clothing, the story said, died as a result.
