It breaks my heart to give The Constitution State a D grade. However, there's just not much there to stir the blood of an avid waterfowler. A 9,900 duck harvest and 5,500 geese in 2021 don't really excite. But when you consider those numbers were posted by about 2,100 active hunters, it doesn't seem that ragged.

Connecticut offers some decent Canada goose hunting statewide. The state has some puddle ducks to harass, mostly on small ponds, creeks and interior rivers; sea ducks, too, on the coast for those who don't mind the rise and fall of the tides.
