Have You Seen Any of These Products Yet?

The ATA Show is usually the location and time when new archery and bowhunting products are released. This year was no different. The 2018 show in Indianapolis didn't disappoint. There were many new pieces of gear that turned heads and have the potential to impact hunts (for the better) worldwide. Here are just a few of the things I came across this year at the big show.

This was the talk of the bow show. This new sight system from Garmin uses a single holographic pin for all yardages. The built-in rangefinder sets the pin accordingly. The one-finger trigger for the range-finding device mounts on the front of the grip, making it easy to range targets ‚ even at full draw. This product is new for 2018.

But, thanks to the Hero T-Post Stepperthere's no more britches rippin' in the foreseeable future. This product is a game-changer. Attach it. Step up. Lift over. Step down. Simple. Yet innovative.

Rinehart Targets Sasquatch

Rinehart Targets Sasquatch
Image Story:

Bigfoot lies at the center of all legendary tales in the wild. Maybe that's why Rinehart Targets added a life-size target of the big, mythical beast? Or maybe they want you to be prepared if you ever find yourself at odds with one of these big, fuzzy critters. Either way, this is a great way to keep your archery game on point and it changes things up from the usual typical 3D targets.

Booner Decoys Whitetail

Booner Decoys Whitetail
Image Story:

So this deer hat is borderline goofy. But it's eye-catching. And in this fast-paced world of social media, this type of stuff gets people talking. So am I going to stick one of these on my head, walk through the woods and try to shoot a deer? Not likely. But it is interesting, and just barely made it into the gallery of what I thought to be the neatest (or just plane ol' wacky in this case) products at the 2018 ATA Show. Also comes in antelope, elk and sheep models.
